First aid for staff

STAFF at a Runcorn gym are to be given lessons in first aid.

Fitness First has contracted Kays Medical to provide training for staff at its 150 gyms.

The Liverpool-based first aid and health & safety training company is to run 16 day-long courses a month for the next year.

The training, tailored to meet the needs of Fitness First, includes first aid from basic injury to life saving techniques such as heart attacks.
