Woman attacked by Rotweiler outside Culcheth shop

A PENSIONER was savagely attacked by a Rotweiler as she shopped in Culcheth.

Police confirmed the dog bit the woman outside Culcheth Provision Store, on Common Lane on Thursday around 3pm.

A spokesman for CPS refused to comment about the incident.

According to passers by, the dog

had been tied up outside the shop when it got free and attacked the woman.

The victim was taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment.
