Online petition: Save Bexton Court

CHESHIRE County Council may close a centre that cares for the most vulnerable people in our society.

Social services bosses last week met staff at Bexton Court in Knutsford to warn that the site could be scrapped to save money.

A final decision about the centre, which treats those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, will be made in about four months.

The Guardian wants readers to fight plans to close Bexton Court.

But Cheshire County Council's three-month consultation is for patients and carers only.

So we are running an online petition to save the centre.
